Aboutthe Experience
During this guided tour, you will discover every stage of Cognac production and gain insight into the expertise that defines Braastad.
Unlike many producers, we oversee each step of the process — from vineyard management and harvesting to winemaking, distillation, ageing and blending. This commitment ensures that every Cognac reflects our exacting standards and the unique character of our terroir.
The tour begins with the fascinating history of Cognac and the Braastad family legacy. You will then explore our traditional distillery, home to ten copper pot stills, and learn about the art of double distillation.
Continue your journey through our ageing cellars, where eaux-de-vie mature patiently for years before reaching their full potential. Along the way, discover rare bottles, historical artefacts and unique stories preserved in our museum.
The experience concludes with a tasting of three carefully selected Cognacs — VS, VSOP and XO — offering a perfect introduction to the influence of ageing and blending on aroma, complexity and character.
